You can support our men and women in uniform and their families through On the Homefront, America Supports You, or the USO Care Package Program. Americans are encouraged to participate by sending letters of support and care packages to our troops overseas, making donations of frequent flyer miles or gift certificates, offering assistance to family members who are at home, and volunteering in the place of deployed military personnel.

To register/apply for Assistance for Individuals and Households, call the special toll free telephone number, 1-800-621- FEMA (TTY: 1-800-462-7585). Specially trained operators at one of FEMA's National Processing Service Centers will process the application.
Information and an application are also available in the FEMA publication: "Help After a Disaster - Applicant's Guide to the Individuals & Households Program".
A set of Frequently Asked Questions regarding HUD disaster relief will be provided to all HCAs in the near future. If HCAs receive questions from victims that they cannot answer, HCAs should call: 1-888-297-8685.
